DO YOU NEED INFORMATION AFTER HAVING IMMIGRATED TO IISALMI?
We have started in Iisalmi a ESR-project called "Vastaanottava Pohjois-Savo" acting in the whole Ylä-Savo region. We are offering information service for foreigners, who have immigrated to Finland. In addition we are aiming to help local officials in their work with foreigners, arranging for example translation and interpretation services. In the end of the year 2009 we shall produce a handbook about municipal services in Russian, English and Estonian languages.
Our immigrant advisers can help you, if you need information about accommodation, day care, schools, possibilities to study Finnish language, health care and other practical matters, which a person can face after having immigrated to Finland and a new municipality. Information services are available for immigrants living in the municipalities of Iisalmi, Keitele, Kiuruvesi, Kuopio, Lapinlahti, Pielavesi, Siilinjärvi, Sonkajärvi, Varkaus, Varpaisjärvi and Vieremä. Services are free of charge.
